Kanishka Narayan is a British politician serving as the Member of Parliament for the Vale of Glamorgan since 2024, becoming the first ethnic minority MP from Wales. Born in India and raised in Cardiff, he attended Eton College and the University of Oxford before earning an MBA from Stanford University. Prior to his election, he worked as a civil servant in the Cabinet Office and the Environment Department, and held roles in the private sector. In 2025, he was appointed as the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for AI and Online Safety.
