Karamoko Jean-Marie Traoré is a Burkinabe politician currently serving as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation and Burkinabe Abroad. Born in Nouna in 1972, he holds a degree in rural geography and studied diplomacy at the National School of Administration and Magistracy. After a career in the private sector and administrative roles at the National Assembly, he served as executive secretary of the G5 Sahel Inter-parliamentary Committee. He was appointed Minister Delegate for Regional Cooperation in 2022 before assuming his current ministerial position in December 2023.
