Karayi Rajan

Karayi Rajan is an Indian politician and a leader of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI(M)) serving as a Member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly for the Thalassery constituency. Born in Kadirur, Kannur district, he has a long history of political and cooperative movement leadership in the region, having previously served as the president of the Kannur District Panchayat, chairman of RUBCO, and president of the Kadirur Service Cooperative Bank. In the 2026 Kerala Legislative Assembly election, he was elected as MLA after defeating his nearest rival from the Indian National Congress.
