Karel Kula is a Czech local politician and former professional football player and manager. Born in Třinec, he enjoyed a successful career as a midfielder, playing for clubs such as FC Baník Ostrava and SG Wattenscheid 09, and representing the Czechoslovakia national team in 40 matches. Following his retirement from professional sports, he transitioned into football management and administration, serving as the chairman of the Moravian-Silesian Regional Football Association. In March 2023, he assumed the office of Mayor of Český Těšín.
