Karl le Roux

Karl le Roux is a South African physician and politician serving as a Member of the National Assembly for the Democratic Alliance since 2024. Born in Sweden and raised in South Africa, he earned his medical degree from the University of Cape Town and a master's degree in International Health from Uppsala University. He previously worked as a rural doctor at Zithulele Hospital, chaired the Rural Doctors' Association of South Africa, and served as a visiting fellow at Princeton University before entering parliament, where he is a member of the Portfolio Committee on Health.
