Mzwanele Manyi

Mzwanele Manyi is a South African politician and businessman currently serving as a member of the National Assembly of South Africa. A former geologist, he previously held significant government roles, including Director-General of the Department of Labour and Director-General of the Government Communication and Information System (GCIS). Throughout his career, Manyi has been a vocal proponent of Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) policies and has frequently engaged in public debates regarding employment equity and transformation in the South African economy. He was elected to the National Assembly in 2023 as a representative of the Economic Freedom Fighters.
