Katharina Kähler is a German politician and sociologist who has served as a member of the Bremische Bürgerschaft since 2023. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD), she currently acts as the parliamentary group's spokesperson for social affairs, family, seniors, and people with disabilities. Before entering politics, Kähler had a long career in social work, notably serving as the head of child and youth welfare and later as the division head for homelessness assistance at the Innere Mission in Bremen. She holds a degree in sociology from the University of Bremen.
