Richard Seelmaecker

Richard Seelmaecker is a German politician and lawyer serving as a member of the Hamburg Parliament (Hamburgische Bürgerschaft). Born in 1973, he has been a member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) since 1995. Throughout his career, he has held various local political positions, including roles in the Fuhlsbüttel/Langenhorn district committee and the Hamburg-Nord district assembly. Since 2002, he has also practiced as a self-employed attorney in Hamburg. In the state parliament, he has focused on judicial policy, serving as the justice policy spokesperson for the CDU parliamentary group and participating in several committees, including those for justice, data protection, and education.
