Kathleen Depoorter

Kathleen Depoorter is a Belgian politician serving as a member of the Chamber of Representatives for the New Flemish Alliance (N-VA). Before her national parliamentary career, she served as a municipal councilor in Evergem starting in 2012, where she also held the position of alderman responsible for finance, budget, public health, local economy, international cooperation, and animal welfare. Additionally, she served as a provincial councilor for East Flanders from 2017 to 2018. Prior to entering politics, Depoorter worked as a pharmacist and business owner.
