Kay Jäger

Kay Jäger is a German politician and member of the Hamburg Parliament, representing the constituency of Billstedt – Wilhelmsburg – Finkenwerder since 2025. Born in 1992 in Buchholz in der Nordheide, he trained as a port logistics specialist and has worked as a dockworker and works council member at the Port of Hamburg. Jäger has been active in the party The Left since 2018 and is also involved in the ver.di trade union. In the Hamburg Parliament, he serves on the committees for public enterprises, economy, labor and innovation, as well as the budget and interior committees.
