Katharina König-Preuss

Katharina König-Preuss is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of Thuringia, representing the party Die Linke since 2009. She is widely recognized for her extensive work in investigating right-wing extremism, particularly her role in the parliamentary committees examining the National Socialist Underground (NSU) terror group. Before entering state politics, she worked as a social worker and street youth worker in Jena. Throughout her career, she has been a vocal advocate for anti-fascism, migration policy, and social justice, often facing threats due to her political activism.
