Keith Self

Keith Self is an American politician and military veteran serving as the U.S. Representative for Texas's 3rd congressional district since 2023. A former lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Special Forces, he previously served as the county judge for Collin County, Texas, from 2007 to 2018. Self is known for his conservative political stances, including his opposition to gun control measures, his focus on border security, and his vocal criticism of Sharia law, which led him to co-found the Sharia Free America Caucus. Throughout his career, he has faced public scrutiny for his use of controversial historical quotes and his conduct during congressional hearings.
