Kelly Ayotte

Kelly Ayotte is an American politician and attorney serving as the 83rd Governor of New Hampshire since 2025. Previously, she served as a United States Senator from New Hampshire from 2011 to 2017 and as the state's Attorney General from 2004 to 2009, becoming the first woman to hold that office. Throughout her career, she has focused on national security, fiscal policy, and addressing the opioid epidemic. A member of the Republican Party, Ayotte has held various legal roles, including serving as a prosecutor and legal counsel to the Governor, before her election to the U.S. Senate and later the governorship.
