Kelly E. Hines is an American politician and retired United States Army colonel serving as a member of the Oklahoma Senate for the 47th district since 2024. Raised in Whitesboro, Oklahoma, Hines had a distinguished 34-year military career, including service in the Oklahoma National Guard and multiple combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He holds master's degrees from American Public University and the United States Army War College. After retiring from the military in 2019, he entered politics and was sworn into the state senate in November 2024.
