Ken Blankenbush is an American politician serving as a member of the New York State Assembly. Born in 1947, he served in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1976, including service in Vietnam. Following his military career, he worked in the insurance and financial services industry, eventually founding his own firm, BEL Associates. Before his election to the State Assembly in 2010, Blankenbush held local government positions, including town councilman for Le Ray and chairman of the Jefferson County Board of Legislators.
