Kenya Wicks

Kenya Wicks is an American politician serving as a member of the Georgia State Senate for the 34th district. Raised in Louisville, Kentucky, she served for thirty years in the United States Army, retiring with the rank of major. She earned a Bachelor of Science in environmental science from the University of Alabama in 2010. Following her military career, she entered politics and was elected to the Georgia State Senate in 2024 after winning the Democratic primary runoff and the subsequent general election. Outside of her legislative duties, she serves as a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate.
