Ker Chien-ming

Ker Chien-ming is a Taiwanese politician and former dentist who serves as a long-standing member of the Legislative Yuan. A founding member of the Democratic Progressive Party, he has held various leadership roles within the legislature, including serving as majority leader from 2016 to 2024. Throughout his career, he has been a prominent figure in Taiwanese politics, often navigating complex legislative disputes and national security debates. In 2022, he was sanctioned by the Chinese government for his political stances regarding Taiwan's sovereignty. He holds advanced degrees in management science and business administration, transitioning from a successful dental practice to a career in public service that began with his first election to the legislature in 1992.
