Hsu Chia-ching

Hsu Chia-ching is a Taiwanese politician currently serving as the Minister of the Overseas Community Affairs Council. She began her political career following the Peng Wan-ru murder incident and served as a Taipei City Councillor from 2002 to 2014. A long-time member of the Democratic Progressive Party, she has held various leadership roles, including deputy secretary-general and acting secretary-general. Before her ministerial appointment in 2023, she served as the political deputy minister of the Overseas Community Affairs Council starting in 2020.
