Kevin Shinkwin, Baron Shinkwin

Kevin Shinkwin, Baron Shinkwin is a British Conservative politician and a life peer in the House of Lords. Born with osteogenesis imperfecta, he has focused his parliamentary work on disability equality and charity governance. Prior to his appointment to the House of Lords in 2015, he spent nearly two decades in the voluntary sector, holding public affairs roles at organizations including Cancer Research UK and The Royal British Legion. He is known for his advocacy regarding the Armed Forces Covenant and his vocal stance on disability rights in the context of abortion legislation.
