Kevin M. Steele is an American politician serving as a Republican member of the Florida House of Representatives for the 55th district. He was elected in November 2022 after winning the Republican primary earlier that year. An alumnus of the University of South Florida, Steele has focused on conservative legislative initiatives, including a 2025 proposal to require public universities to rename campus roadways in honor of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. His legislative work has occasionally drawn scrutiny regarding constitutional and free-speech implications.
