Khalifé Khalifé is a French politician and cardiologist who has served as a Senator for the Moselle department since 2023. Born in 1953, he spent part of his childhood in Lebanon before moving to France to study medicine at the University of Nancy. Professionally, he had a long career as a cardiologist at the Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours hospital in Metz. Entering local politics in 2001, he served as a municipal councilor and later as the first deputy mayor of Metz. He also served as a departmental councilor for Moselle, where he held the position of vice-president responsible for higher education, research, innovation, and health.
