François Grosdidier

François Grosdidier is a French politician currently serving as the Mayor of Metz and President of the Eurométropole de Metz since 2020. Previously, he held a long parliamentary career, serving as a member of the National Assembly for the Moselle department from 1993 to 2011 and as a Senator from 2011 to 2020. Throughout his career, he has been involved in local governance, including serving as the Mayor of Woippy for sixteen years. A former member of the UMP and Les Républicains, he has taken various positions on national issues, including security, industrial reconversion, and foreign policy, particularly regarding relations with Morocco.
