Khofifah Indar Parawansa is an Indonesian politician currently serving as the Governor of East Java. A prominent figure in Indonesian politics, she previously served as the Minister of Social Affairs from 2014 to 2018 and as the State Minister for Female Empowerment from 1999 to 2001. Throughout her career, she has been a vocal advocate for social reform, including initiatives to eradicate prostitution and promote interfaith unity.
