김기웅

Ki-woong Kim is a South Korean politician and former career civil servant currently serving as a member of the 22nd National Assembly for the Jung-gu and Nam-gu district in Daegu. Before entering electoral politics, he had a long and distinguished career within the Ministry of Unification, eventually serving as the 27th Vice Minister of Unification from 2022 to 2023 under the Yoon Suk-yeol administration. His extensive background includes expertise in inter-Korean relations, policy planning, and diplomatic security. As a lawmaker, he has been active in the Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee and the Budget and Accounts Committee, focusing on national security and unification policy.
