Kim Dong-wook is a South Korean politician currently serving as the 27th Mayor of Dobong District in Seoul. Born in 1966 in Jeongeup, he began his political career as an aide to lawmaker Yoo In-tae and served multiple terms as a member of the Seoul Metropolitan Council. After several unsuccessful attempts to run for district mayor, he was elected to his current position in the 2026 local elections. He holds a master's degree in urban administration from the University of Seoul and is a member of the Democratic Party of Korea.
