Kim Jang-ho is a South Korean politician and former career civil servant currently serving as the Mayor of Gumi. Born in 1969, he passed the local government examination in 1996 and held various administrative positions within the Gumi City government, the North Gyeongsang Provincial government, and the Ministry of the Interior and Safety. He was elected as the Mayor of Gumi in 2022 and re-elected in 2026. Throughout his tenure, he has focused on industrial development, including the successful attraction of defense innovation clusters and semiconductor specialized complexes to the Gumi region.
