Kirsti Bergstø

Kirsti Bergstø is a Norwegian politician serving as the leader of the Socialist Left Party since March 2023. Born in Rana, she has had a long career in national politics, having served as a member of the Storting for Finnmark from 2013 to 2017 and representing Akershus since 2021. Previously, she was a State Secretary in the Ministry of Children, Equality and Social Inclusion and led the party's youth wing. Bergstø is recognized for her focus on labor and social affairs, having chaired the Standing Committee on Labour and Social Affairs until 2023.
