小林鷹之

Takayuki Kobayashi is a Japanese politician and former bureaucrat currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives. A graduate of the University of Tokyo and Harvard Kennedy School, he began his career at the Ministry of Finance before entering politics. He has held several high-profile positions, including Minister of State for Science and Technology Policy and Economic Security, and currently serves as the Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party's Policy Research Council. Known as a policy-oriented conservative, he has been a prominent figure in discussions regarding economic security, constitutional reform, and national defense. He has been elected to the House of Representatives six times representing the Chiba 2nd district.
