尾身朝子

Asako Omi is a Japanese politician and IT consultant currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives. Born in Tokyo, she graduated from the University of Tokyo and worked at NTT before establishing her own IT consulting firm. She entered national politics and has served in various roles, including State Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications and Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs. Omi is a member of the Liberal Democratic Party and has been associated with the Seiwakai faction. Her political platform includes support for constitutional revision, the exercise of the right to collective self-defense, and the promotion of Abenomics. She has also been involved in policy areas concerning child-rearing and the advancement of women in society.
