Taku Nemoto

Taku Nemoto is a Japanese politician and lawyer currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives. Born in 1986 in Koriyama, Fukushima, he is the son of former lawmaker Takumi Nemoto. He holds degrees from the University of Tokyo and Harvard Law School, and previously worked as an attorney with experience in the United States, France, and at the OECD. He was first elected to the Diet in 2024 through the proportional representation block and subsequently secured a seat in the Fukushima 2nd district during the 2026 general election.
