Koorosh Armi is a German politician and a member of the Hamburg Parliament, representing the constituency of Lokstedt – Niendorf – Schnelsen since 2025. Born in Mashhad, Iran, he grew up in Hamburg-Schnelsen and studied social economics and sociology at the University of Hamburg. Before his election to the state parliament, he served as a member of the Eimsbüttel district assembly from 2011 to 2025, where he focused on mobility, urban development, and local infrastructure. Armi is a long-time member of the SPD and currently chairs the committee for cooperation between the states of Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein. He is professionally employed at the advertising company Ströer.
