Ákos Újhelyi is a Serbian politician representing the country's Hungarian community. A member of the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (VMSZ), he has served in the National Assembly of Serbia on an almost continuous basis since 2020. Prior to his parliamentary career, he served in the Vojvodina provincial assembly and held various administrative roles in the Subotica city government, including as a financial advisor and director of public utility companies. He holds a degree in finance and accounting from the University of Novi Sad.
