Kris Vietze

Kris Vietze is a Swiss businesswoman and politician currently serving as a member of the National Council since 2023. Born in Mayen, West Germany, she studied economics at the University of Zurich and earned a PhD from ETH Zurich, later qualifying as a federal auditor. Before her election to the federal parliament, she served on the Grand Council of Thurgau starting in 2012. Alongside her political career, she is a controlling shareholder of the sensor technology firm Baumer Group and serves on various nonprofit boards.
