Kristien Verbelen

Kristien Verbelen is a Belgian politician currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Representatives, having been elected in the 2024 federal election for the West Flanders constituency. She is a member of the Vlaams Belang party and serves on the parliamentary defense committee. Before entering national politics, Verbelen worked as a logistics manager and an international sales executive. She holds a degree from the University of Ghent, where she was active in the Nationalistische Studentenvereniging (NSV) and served as its president from 2005 to 2006.
