Kristine Poghosyan

Kristine Poghosyan is an Armenian politician and a member of the National Assembly of Armenia representing the Civil Contract party. Born in Ptghni, she holds degrees in Cybernetics and Humanitarian and Economic Management from the National Polytechnic University of Armenia. Before entering politics, she held human resources leadership roles at the Yerevan Brandy Company, Imex Group, and the jewelry firm Tre Gufo. Since her election to parliament in 2018, she has been a vocal advocate for LGBT rights in Armenia and has worked to strengthen inter-parliamentary cooperation between Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh.
