A long-time member of the Polish People's Party (PSL), he has held various leadership roles, including serving as the chairman of the PSL-Third Way parliamentary club. Previously, he served as the Minister of Development and Technology from 2024 to 2025 and as the chairman of the Greater Poland Regional Assembly. He has been a member of the Sejm since 2015, representing the Piła constituency.
