Kunal Ghosh

Kunal Ghosh is an Indian politician and journalist currently serving as a Member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly for the Beleghata constituency, having been elected in 2026. Prior to his current role, he served as a member of the Rajya Sabha. A prominent figure in the All India Trinamool Congress, he has held positions including State spokesperson and State General Secretary. Ghosh is also a well-known journalist and author, having worked for various media outlets and published several books. His career has been marked by significant controversy, including his involvement in the Saradha Group financial scandal, for which he was arrested in 2013 and later released on bail in 2016.
