小山くにひこ

Kunihiko Koyama is a Japanese politician currently serving his fifth term as a member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly, representing the Fuchu constituency. After graduating from Meiji University and working as a parliamentary secretary and educator, he began his political career as a Fuchu City Council member in 2003. Since his election to the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly in 2009, he has focused on policies including disaster prevention, child-rearing support, and the promotion of growth industries such as space technology. He is known for advocating for the expansion of the Tama Medical Campus and implementing various local infrastructure improvements in Fuchu, including railway station accessibility and disaster resilience measures.
