Kunwar Vijay Shah

Kunwar Vijay Shah is an Indian politician serving as a member of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he has represented the Harsud Assembly constituency for over three decades, having won eight consecutive elections since 1990. Throughout his long political career, he has held various ministerial portfolios in the state government, including forest, school education, tribal affairs, and tourism. Born into the royal family of the former Makrai state, he holds a Master of Arts in history from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya. In 2025, he faced legal controversy regarding public remarks made against an Indian Army officer, which led to judicial intervention by the High Court of Madhya Pradesh and the Supreme Court.
