Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus, is a Ghanaian politician, musician, and social activist. He gained national prominence as a hiplife artist known for his bold political and social commentary, particularly through his 2000 debut album, Freedom of Speech. Following a career focused on addressing corruption and social injustice, he transitioned into formal politics. In the 2024 Ghanaian general elections, he was elected as the Member of Parliament for the Gomoa Central constituency as an independent candidate. He holds degrees in Public Administration, International Relations, and Law.
