A Senior Lecturer at the University of Cape Coast, he holds a PhD in Marketing from the University of Leicester. Before his election in 2020, he overcame legal challenges regarding his voter registration to secure his parliamentary seat. He is a member of the Poverty Reduction Strategy Committee and is known by the nickname Ragga.
