Lâm Thị Phương Thanh is a Vietnamese politician currently serving as the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism and a Deputy to the National Assembly of Vietnam for the 2026–2031 term. Born in 1967 in Ninh Bình, she holds a Master of Law and a Bachelor of History. Her extensive career includes leadership roles within the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Central Propaganda Department, and as Secretary of the Lạng Sơn Provincial Party Committee. She is a member of the 14th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and has held senior administrative positions within the Party Central Office before assuming her current ministerial role in April 2026.
