Laila Naraghi

Laila Naraghi is a Swedish politician of Persian origin who has served as a member of the Riksdag, the Swedish Parliament, since September 2016. Raised in Oskarshamn, she became involved in politics early, joining the Swedish Social Democratic Youth League at age 14. Naraghi holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the Swedish Defence University, with a focus on crisis management and international cooperation. Her professional background includes working at the Olof Palme International Center and serving as a political expert at the Swedish Foreign Ministry under Margot Wallström. She is a member of the Swedish Social Democratic Party and has previously served on the board of the Swedish UN Association.
