Lakshmi Hebbalkar

Lakshmi Hebbalkar is an Indian politician serving as a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly representing the Belagavi Rural constituency. A member of the Indian National Congress, she previously served as the Minister of Women and Child Development, and Disabled and Senior Citizens Empowerment in the Government of Karnataka. Hebbalkar began her political career in 2004 and has held various leadership roles, including president of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee women's wing. She holds a master's degree in political science from Mysore University and has been a prominent figure in Karnataka state politics for over a decade.
