Lars Boje Mathiesen

Lars Boje Mathiesen is a Danish politician serving as a member of the Folketing. Originally a primary school teacher, he entered politics through the Liberal Alliance before joining the New Right (Nye Borgerlige), where he briefly served as party leader in 2023. Following his expulsion from the party, he founded The Citizens' Party (Borgernes Parti), which secured parliamentary representation in the 2026 general election. He continues to serve as an independent-minded legislator in the Danish parliament.
