Laura Itzel Castillo Juárez is a Mexican architect and politician currently serving as the President of the Senate of Mexico for the 66th Legislature. A prominent figure in the Mexican left, she is the daughter of the engineer and political leader Heberto Castillo. Throughout her career, she has held various public offices, including serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies, Secretary of Urban Development and Housing for the Federal District, and Director of the Passenger Transport Network of Mexico City. She is a member of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena) and has been a long-time advocate for urban development and social housing policies.
