Cuauhtémoc Ochoa Fernández is a Mexican politician and civil engineer currently serving as a Senator of the Republic for the state of Hidalgo. A graduate of the Universidad Iberoamericana, he previously held various roles in the public sector, including Secretary of Tourism and Secretary of Public Works for Hidalgo, and served as a Deputy Secretary in the Secretariat of Environment and Natural Resources. Throughout his career, he has been a member of the Ecologist Green Party of Mexico and later joined the National Regeneration Movement (Morena), representing the party in the Chamber of Deputies before his election to the Senate in 2024.
