Laurent Burgoa

Laurent Burgoa is a French politician currently serving as a Senator for the Gard department. A member of The Republicans, he previously held several local government positions, including serving as a municipal councillor and deputy mayor of Nîmes from 2008 to 2020, as well as a departmental councillor for the Gard between 2011 and 2021. Throughout his career, he has been a vocal advocate for regional interests, including proposals regarding territorial reform, and has taken strong stances on cultural issues such as the defense of bullfighting in southern France.
