Laurent Panifous is a French politician serving as the Minister Delegate for Relations with Parliament in the Lecornu II government since October 2025. Previously a member of the Socialist Party, he became a prominent dissident by refusing to join the NUPES alliance during the 2022 legislative elections. He was elected as a deputy for the Ariège department and later served as the president of the centrist LIOT parliamentary group. Throughout his career, he has advocated for a responsible opposition and a culture of political compromise in France. Before his national political career, he worked as a director of a nursing home and served as the mayor of Le Fossat.
