Laxmi Mahato Koiri is a Nepalese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives of Nepal. Representing the Mahottari 1 constituency, he assumed office on December 26, 2022, as part of the 2nd Federal Parliament of Nepal. He is a member of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist). In 2023, Koiri faced a temporary suspension from his parliamentary duties due to legal allegations of murder, but he was subsequently acquitted of the charges in December 2023, leading to the restoration of his status as a lawmaker.
